HOTEL GUESTS, STAFF AND LOCALS
ARE RUNNING TOGETHER IN COPENHAGEN

Fresh air and lots of energy – that’s the way to kick-start the day twice a week at Hotel Kong Arthur and Ibsen's Hotel. Ni'mat Spa at Hotel Kong Arthur has launched a running club, Ni'mat Running Club.

Hotel guests can sign up at the reception and meet up at Ni'mat Spa at 7am. Here, a professional coach is ready to guide the runners at a beautiful morning route through Copenhagen, while the sun rises

Strength training and spa
Incorporated in the trip around Copenhagen, there will be breaks, where the coach will guide the runners through different exercises, such as squats, lunges, sit-ups and push-ups. After a nice 4-5 km run in the beautiful neighbourhood of Nansensgade, the guests can enjoy the Jacuzzi, sauna and aroma steam bath in the Ni'mat Spa and finish off with a healthy energy boosting smoothie.

We know that there are many runners among our guests and that it can be difficult to run in a new and big city. A morning run offers our guests a healthy and sustainable opportunity to sense the soul of the neighborhood around the hotels. It is important for us to give our guests a feeling of home away from home and a sense of belonging. Even if they only stay with us for a few days they can be temporarily local. (Helle Bisholm, COO, Arthur Hotels)

An extra service for hotel guests
The hotel guests have already embraced the running club. Especially the ones who often stay with us have welcomed  it. It's free to participate and it’s simply an extra service for those who loves running.

I have participated in the morning run three times and it has been a good experience every time. The first time, I was welcomed with great enthusiasm and the  following runs I have joined have been like meeting my new friends. The running club is a great initiative. When you run with others, it adds an extra dimension. It motivates me to push myself more than I do when running alone. The coach is nice, positive and motivating. (Jonas Thomsen, Chief Architect, KMD)

The running team is also a chance to socialize – and one should not be surprised to be running side by side with the hotels managers, staff members or even people from the neighborhood. The running club is open for both Copenhageners, Arthur Hotels' staff and hotel guests,

SWEDISH GIN, TO BE ENJOYED PURE

SWEDISH GIN - TO BE ENJOYED PURE

Hernö gin is produced at a small distillery in the northern part of Sweden. The taste is spicy and varied - and it’s delicious to drink pure. We recommend enjoying it outside the true Nordic way. We have furs, blankets and heat lamps available. However, Herno gin is also great for cocktails. Learn a little about mixology, see the video »
